At the moment three museologists (Ottó Merkl, who is the head of the Collection, Gyözö Szél and György Makranczy are curators) and six assistants (Edit Hámori, Aranka Grabant, János Pál, Attila Podlussány, Zoltán György and Tamás Németh) work in the Coleoptera Collection. For certain types of work (e.g. sorting out unnamed material or identification of Hungarian specimens) we partly rely on volunteers (students and amateur coleopterists).
